Tragedy struck in the town of Calera y Chozas in Toledo, as a traffic accident resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man and the hospitalization of a 36-year-old individual, who was taken to the Hospital Nuestra Señora del Prado in Talavera de la Reina.

According to sources from the Emergency Service 112 of Castilla-La Mancha, the call came in around 6:29 am from kilometer 5 of the CM-4130, where the vehicle carrying the two victims had veered off the road.

Despite the quick response of an emergency medical team and a mobile ICU, only one victim's death could be confirmed, while the other individual was transported to the hospital in a basic life support ambulance.

The operation also involved the participation of the Civil Guard agents and an emergency medical team.
